Points: 81/100
Pairs well with: manchego cheese, hamburgers and roast beef.
Notes:
Dark purplish colour and a beautiful aromatic nose full of fresh red fruits, especially cherries and strawberries.
The palate is very pleasant with dark cherries mixing with other ripe red fruits and ripe plums, and light touch and vanilla providing a rather well balanced wine with good length.
I am having this wine with manchego cheese and the combination is great.

Wine: FSW 8B
Producer: Yalumba
Region: South Australia
Country: Australia
Colour: White
Year: 2009
Grape: Viognier
Supplier: Wine Warehouse
Price (VND): 540.000 (Half bottle)
Points: 89
Pairs well with: Chocolate pudding, crème bulle, soft cheeses
Notes:
Yalumba has made this, a very nice dessert wine.

Pale bright yellow in colour, the nose brings soft scents of apricots and peach with a hint of lemons.
The palate is more intense than the nose but not overwhelming, bringing ripe apricots and peaches with a honey touch and some raisins.

Very uniform and well balanced with a rather smooth finish and medium length.
If you are looking for a super sweet dessert wine, keep looking. However if you want something nice, smooth and pleasant, sweet but delicate and balanced, this is a perfect finish for a meal.
