Notes:
Beautiful red colour with some violet highlights.
Lots of red fruits on the nose, with some toasted vanilla and a hint of tobacco. Alcohol can be sensed but is not matched on the palate.
The palate is amazing. Lots of berries and a hint of dark chocolate provide a silk feeling evolving on the back and roof of the mouth. A hint of tanning, but as very well rounded wine with more than a decent length.
This wine goes fantastic with hard cheeses andbeed steak. Paired with a good blue cheese is just incredible.
If you like full bodied wines, this is great to drink on its own, lots of fruit and complexity.
