This is a beautiful wine!

The nose brings an explosion of black and red fruits, compote and jam.

As for the palate, it mostly replicates the nose, being velvety and delivering a great length.

Mon Seul Reve Syrah France

Wine: Mon Seul Reve
Producer: Bernard Magrez
Region: Cotes du Rousillon
Country: France
Colour: Red
Year: 2006
Grape: Syrah mix
Supplier: The Wine Warehouse
Price (VND): 473750
Points: 81/100
Pairs well with: Stews, red meats.
Notes:
Very dark in color, almost opaque.
The nse is full of red fruits, with some vanilla and a hint of tobacco.
The palate is really good, it matches the nose on ripe red fruits and vanilla, bringing a rounded well balanced wine, which is a pleasure to drink on its own, with stews or red meat.
I strongly recommend to decant the wine and wait an hour, as by doing so the wine opens very well.
If you like Chateaunuff du Pappe wine, this is a great resemblance at a fraction of the cost!
