Region: Rioja
Country: Spain
Colour: Red

Grape: Tempranillo
Supplier: Looking for distributor in Vietnam
Price (VND): N/A
Points: 80/100
Pairs well with: Beef, mature cheeses
Notes:
This wine offer a dark purple colour with evolving nose of liquorice, vanilla, ripe red fruits and a touch of vanilla and chocolate.

On the palate is smooth and delicate, giving a silk feeling. Vibrant and with very good length, sophisticated offering red fruits, chocolate, a hint of leather, liquorice and vanilla.

This wine really enhances beef dishes, I am having it with Vietnamese beef cooked with onion and garlic and it is just amazing. Also pairs perfectly with mature cheeses like Idiazabal, manchego and mature cheddar.
Winner of Gold medal at Mundus Vini.

By the way: I am now working for Eguren Ugarte winery in Vietnam (check www.vietnamfacile.com), however I am doing my best to give an independent review. I chose this winery because this is one of the two wines I usually drink on a daily basis in Spain.
