Notes:
This pale red, semi translucent wine is a good example on how a table wine can be very decent for daily drinking without spending a fortune.
Uniform red ligh color, shows its age, or actually lack of it.
Very light nose, full of flowers, red berries and fresh cherries.
On the mouth this wine feels rather light, however it brings an explosion of alcohol at the end, without being too much. Light strawberries and a touch of cherries, with a soft palate and long finish that would benefit from less alcohol.
I think this wine would benefit from keeping it another one or two years before drinking. However is very pleasant for easy everyday drink.
Paired with blue cheese, this wine is a totally different animal, becoming much more powerful and enhancing the flavours of the cheese. It also develops flavors of dark fruits with a hint of liquorice
