Beautiful deep purple in colour, this French Mediterranean wine offers a nose with liquorice, ripe red berries, red cherries, though a bit alcoholic is pleasant.

On the palate the presence of the liquorice, and red fruits, makes it a good pair with grilled red meat, stews and mature cheeses. Rather inexpensive, yet another wine from Gerard Bertrand and the Wine Warehouse offering great value for money.
