Notes:

Darkish purple colour, with a beautiful perfumed nose of red berries, violets and vanilla.

The palate is also very pleasant, with raspberries, violets, cherries and plumbs.

With a medium to long finish, this is a great discovery for the price; if you like traditional Bordeaux merlots, you will enjoy this at a fraction of the price. I am trying it as I write with macaroni Bolognese, and they really complement each other. I will definitely be buying more of it!
