Notes:
This is one of the best wines I have tried for a long time. Even though I have been a fan of marques de Riscal for many years, I must say that the last bottle I had of the 2002 vintage was a real surprise.

Brownish in colour, showing the effects of the oak and the more than 10 years maturation. The nose brings a lot of complexity as well as well of dark fruits, dark cherries, tobacco and leather.

The palate is amazing, well structured, complex and rounded. Very elegant with vanilla, leather and dark cherries being the dominant flavours. Excellent length, and an overall fantastic experience.

This is the type of wine you feel sorry not to have bought more of!
